I was born and raised in Beaumont. I attended a local Catholic grade school and graduated from Kelly High School. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Lamar University in 1988. Upon graduating I moved to Houston for two and a half years, working for an accounting firm. After which I headed back home to Beaumont.
I met my wife, Capri, on a blind date and a year later (June 1994) we were married. It was also in 1994 that she received her real estate license. I think this gave me the bug for real estate. She retired from real estate for awhile and worked even harder being a wonderful full time mom. We have been blessed with two children, our son Easton and our daughter Gracen.
I had taken several courses while attending Lamar but in 1999 I decided to finish the required courses in order to attain my salesperson license. While working for a local real estate office in Beaumont, I met the requirements in order for me to sit for my broker's license. In November 2001, I earned my broker's license.
In 2002, I joined an agent at RE/MAX working as a member of a team, and then later as an independent agent as a Buyers Specialist. In the first three quarters of 2003 we received RE/MAX's Platinum Status and consistently ranked in the Top 10 Teams in the Vanguard Division, in the state of Texas.
Before and after I had my licence, after having bought and sold several homes myself, I know first hand how I want to be treated and that is how I try to always treat the people I work with. It has always been my goal to provide a service to my clients, which lets them know I am there every step of the way ...even beyond closing.
Buying and selling a house is a very important event in one's life, both on a personal and financial level, and it is a great honor to have the privilege of assisting people with this goal.
